This flower contains a gorgeous pastel lavender eyewash, that in late day (or warm temps) becomes a sky blue… fabulous against the pastel lavender/pink self. There are actually 4 color bands beyond the VERY large and clean wax green throat… yellow, red, slate lavender, and then purple. Happily, the wash spills quite heartily out onto the inner petal edges.
